I am honored to be part of Bottle of Smoke’s 9 in 9 project where nine chapbooks were published in nine days. My contribution was a collection of poem title
From Sin to Seed, that includes artwork by Hosho McCreesh (www.hoshomccreesh.com). The line-up is terrific, so check it out! You can purchase copies for $5 at Bottle of Smoke Press.

In addition, Fox Chase Review included three of my poems
in the Autumn/Winter 2011 issue. Red Fez nominated one of my poems for the best of the net, which is an honor. June 2011 already. . . Wow! Well, let’s see time is ticking by and I have been insanely busy, glad summer is on the way! I have a new piece up at The Nervous Breakdown as well as self-interview. I have a new piece up at Yes, Poetry and yes, I know my name is spelled wrong. I have a new piece up at Red Fez. I have some new pieces in the new issue of Open Wide Magazine. Amanda from Kind over Matter posted my poem “Sunflowers” from The Map of Our Garden. Scott Andrew Anderson, a poet I met when I read at the Fox Chase Reading Series, posted my poem “In This Picture” alongside the photo that inspired it on his blog. I also have another piece up at Yellow Mama. I also am honored to have a piece in nibble again! Nibble is a great publication, check it out!
January 20, 2011 In other news, yes, I am still onboard with Natty and Cracker on their blog talk radio show The Natty and Cracker Hour. Recently we interviewed one of my favorite writers Julie Buffaloe-Yoder; she is amazing. Her work can be found at The Buffaloe Pen. I start writing reviews for Kirkus this month and am enjoying the winter storms. All in all life is good. I have also had the pleasure of reading some great books that I have to recommend. One is a Karl Koweski’s Blood and Greasepaint, which can be purchased through Epic Rites Press. Epic Rites is publishing many of the small press writers I really love like William Taylor Jr. and John Dorsey. Also just finished reading Just Kids by Patti Smith and loved it! Oh, and Julie Buffaloe-Yoder turned me on to Wilma Elizabeth McDaniel, coined an “Okie” poet. I love her work. She was published a good deal by one of my favorite print publications Chiron Review, who just took one of my poems for future publication. Thank you to all of you who support my work, the small press, and poetry! Have a phenomenal 2011!
